SDAT Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary

As Maryland prepares to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, we are excited to join state agencies, counties, and communities in supporting the MD Two Fifty initiative.

From the historic records of our properties to the businesses that fuel our local economies, Maryland's story is woven into every community we serve. SDAT is incredibly excited to collaborate with our fellow state and local partners to honor our shared history, celebrate everyday Marylanders, and build a stronger, more engaged future together.

To honor this milestone, we hosted a few activities for our dedicated employees to celebrate SDAT’s meaningful contributions to Maryland! Check out how we're commemorating #MD250!

SDAT HQ 250 Installation

Throughout the SAIL250 Maryland & Air Show Baltimore weeklong event, SDAT exhibited the Department's contributions to Maryland’s growth over the years. A mini SDAT museum, featuring historical assessment items, was on display at SDAT's headquarters for people to learn more about the agency's devoted work for the state.
